Chili con carne (chilli)

This recipe can be made spicy or non-spicy. In my case, since I am the only one in the family who eats spicy, I chop the chili bell pepper and put it in a separate dish.

15 servings

Chili bell pepper or chili or chili pepper to taste
1 kilo of minced beef, pork or mixed meat
2 jars of beans or red beans
1 jar red or green bell bell pepper or natural bell pepper
2 onions
1 kilo tomatoes
4 cloves garlic or garlic powder
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon sweet paprika or paprika
Salt, pepper
Melting or grated cheese or Parmesan cheese or whatever you like😋

Chop the garlic, onion, bell pepper (if it is from a jar, empty it and cut it with the same wooden spoon) and chili bell pepper in small squares, except the tomato.
Sauté everything in a large pot with a generous splash of oil.

After the onion is well done, add the ground beef and season it with salt, pepper, oregano, cumin, sweet paprika or paprika (ground chili or cayenne pepper optional🔥) and stir, watching the meat cook with the sauce.

Add the tomato paste, stir and add the beans and diced tomato.

Add the cup of water if it is too thick.

Let it boil for 15 minutes over low heat. Stir from time to time so that it does not stick to the bottom.

Let it rest for a few minutes and as a good stew the next day it will be tastier.

When serving if we feel like it we put cheese to melt, that melts with the heat of the chili.
