  •     ½ cup unsalted butter
  •     ½ cup brown sugar
  •     ¼ cup refined sugar
  •     1 egg
  •     2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  •     3 ripe bananas, mashed
  •     ¼ cup cream
  •     1 cup flour
  •     ½ cup cocoa powder
  •     1 teaspoon baking powder
  •     ¼ teaspoon salt
  •     1 cup chocolate chips 


  1. Soften the butter together with the refined sugar and the brown sugar.
  2. Add the egg, vanilla essence, mashed banana, and cream.
  3. Combine the flour with cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Sift the dry ingredients over the banana mixture and beat until well incorporated.
  5. Add the chocolate chips and mix.
  6. Grease and flour a muffin pan; pour the preparation.
  7. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 70 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 30 minutes before unmolding.
