How to make some really amazing chocolate ice cream only using 3 ingredients.
- 2 CUPS / 500 GRAMS WHIPPING CREAM
- 300 ML / 10 OZ SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
- 44 GRAMS / 8 TABLESPOONS COCOA POWDER
So let’s get started into a large bowl. I’m going to pour in all of my cream and my cream is cold. And then to that, all of our sweetened condensed milk, so that’s good. That’s perfect like that. And then our last ingredient our cocoa powder.
And now I’m just going to start slowly mixing all of this in. Just until the cocoa powder has been incorporated and then I’m going to increase my mixer and start really whipping this. So I’ve been mixing here for a good forty five seconds or so, I just wanted to make sure that everything was mixed in. So that’s good. So at this point now I’m going to start increasing my mixer. I want to get my mixer on high. I’m going to whip this for about two minutes.
So any type of baking team that you have use, it doesn’t matter if it’s glass or metal. Just something that you can scoop out of and then just get all of your mixture right in there.
Don’t really go right down to the bottom. You don’t want to start breaking up any of the air bubbles inside that mixture.
And then we’ll just cover this with some plastic wrap, I just had to take a little sample off of my spatula it is amazing you can eat it just like this. Now, I’m just going to get that plastic wrap right on there and I’m going to pop this into my freezer. And you can go anywhere from six to eight hours. You can leave it there overnight. It really doesn’t matter.
So here we are again. My chocolate ice cream has completely firmed up and we’ll just remove that plastic wrap and then we’ll just grab an ice cream scoop.
