Ingredients to make light French toast:
- 2 slices whole-wheat bread
- 1 egg white
- 1 sachet of sweetener without calories
- 1 pinch of Cinnamon powder
- 3 drops of vanilla essence
- 50 millilitres of skim milk
- 1 dash of canola oil
How to make Light French Toast:
Before making this healthy recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
In a bowl, whisk together the egg white, non-caloric sweetener, vanilla essence and cinnamon powder.
Add the milk and mix very well. Then dip the bread in this mixture, covering it well on both sides.
Tip: If you want healthier toasts, you can use almond or soy milk.
Then, in a frying pan with canola oil, add the toast and cook on both sides for 3 minutes, until golden brown.
