Pecan Cheesecake Squares

These delicious squares are perfect for any occasion!


For about twenty squares, you will need:

  • 1 3/4 cup of flour
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 3/4 cup of butter and half salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tsp. coffee of natural vanilla extract
  • 150 g of pecan nuts


  1. Pour the flour into a bowl, add the sugar.
  2. Add the diced butter. Fold in the butter with your fingertips until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour the dough into an oiled square pan. Press it gently with your fingers to spread it evenly.
  4. Bake for about 15 minutes at 165°C. The dough should remain golden. It really shouldn’t cook too long.

Prepare the filling:

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar.
  2. Add the flour and mix.
  3. Add the honey, salt, and vanilla. Stir to combine.
  4. Pour into the pan over the baked batter.
  5. Sprinkle the pecans over the filling.
  6. Bake in a 165° C oven for about 20 minutes. The filling should be set and golden brown.
  7. Let cool to room temperature and cut into squares. They keep very well in an airtight box.
