Roasted Brussels sprouts

Roasted Brussels sprouts with honey and blueberries

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of Brussels sprouts
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • orange peel
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation of baked Brussels sprouts:

Wash the Brussels sprouts very well. Remove the lower part of the stem a little. Spread the Brussels sprouts and the blueberries on a baking tray. In a medium bowl, mix the olive oil, melted butter, cinnamon, and orange zest. Sprinkle the Brussels sprouts and the blueberries. Sprinkle the honey on the Brussels sprouts and blueberries, too. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC degrees for 25-30 minutes, stirring the Brussels sprouts every 5 minutes. They will be done when the outside of the Brussels sprouts is golden and crisp.
