Strawberry Milk Cake

I am very happy and excited, I decided to prepare a delicious Strawberry Milk Cake, this tres leches cake is classic, with a simple decoration, but with a unique flavor, you can share with your family, either on a special occasion or just to pamper yourself, I send you a hug my chefs at home.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of butter to grease our mold.
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder
  • 6 eggs
  • 5 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick

For the filling

  • 200 gr cream cheese at temperature
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

To decorate

  • 1 cup of cleaned strawberries

Preparation:

  1. Place the cream cheese in the mixer, beat until creamy, once ready add the powdered sugar and vanilla and continue beating for 5 minutes, add the whipping cream, beat for 10 minutes and reserve in the refrigerator.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  3. Now we are going to prepare the cake sponge; separate the egg whites and yolks, first beat the egg whites with the vanilla and sugar, then beat the yolks for 5 minutes, now pour into a single bowl and mix, add the butter, sift the flour and baking powder, Once ready, pour into the previously greased mold, bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 180°C, confirm the baking by doing the knife test, if it comes out clean, let it cool for 30 minutes, while our cake bread cools down, prepare the milk; In a bowl add the condensed, evaporated and whole milk and the cinnamon stick, mix and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Once our bread is cold, remove from the pan, cut it in half and place the first layer in a flat bowl, soak it with the milk, add a little of the whipped cream, spread it all over the bread, distribute a part of the strawberries, place the other layer of bread, soak it with the milk and cover all the bread with the whipped cream, at the end we decorate our tres leches cake with strawberries to taste.

Tip: Remember that you are your own chef at home so you can use your favorite fruit and the type of frosting you prefer.
