- 3 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup soft caramel candies
- 3 tbsp heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp butter or coconut oil
- Flaky sea salt optional
Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
Heat syrup and sugar until dissolved. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter and salt. Add cereal and mix well. Press into pan.
Melt caramels with cream and butter until smooth. Spread over base. Let set 10–15 minutes.
Melt chocolate chips with butter. Spread over caramel. Sprinkle with sea salt.
Chill until firm, then slice into bars and enjoy!
