Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 ½ cups chopped pecans
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Stir in pecans. Pour into dish.
  • Sprinkle cake mix evenly over pecan mixture.
  • Pour melted butter evenly over the top.
  • Bake 45–55 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly at the edges.
  • Cool for 20 minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
