- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 ½ cups chopped pecans
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a bowl, whisk corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Stir in pecans. Pour into dish.
Sprinkle cake mix evenly over pecan mixture.
Pour melted butter evenly over the top.
Bake 45–55 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly at the edges.
Cool for 20 minutes before serving.
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
