Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons fine yellow cornmeal
  • 1 Tablespoon melted unsalted butter
  • 1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 – 3/4 cup whole kernel corn
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 – 2 teaspoons white sugar 
  • 1/2 cup cream-style corn
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, add the flour, salt, fine yellow cornmeal, and white sugar, and mix the ingredients.
  2. In a small-sized bowl, add buttermilk, egg, and melted unsalted butter, and mix the ingredients well.

  4. Add cream-style corn and whole kernel corn to the mixture and mix everything.
