My Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

Today we’re making Five Ingredient Gluten-Free Peanut Butter Cookies. These are such fun cookies, I actually like to call magic cookies ’cause you’ll see there are only five ingredients, no flour or any kind of wheat ingredients so they’re perfect for your gluten-free friends. That’s awesome. And so easy to make. So the five ingredients for our easy recipe are:


  • 1 cup The Bee’s Knees peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup turbinado sugar (also known as “raw sugar”)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Let’s get started with our cookies. So honestly, everything’s just gonna go right into this bowl. We’ve got the sugar in there, I’m gonna add our large egg, that cinnamon, a little bit of kosher salt, and a cup of peanut butter. I love The Bee’s Knees in this. Gives it just a little touch of sweetness, that honey flavor, perfect since it’s such a simple recipe.

So now we’re just gonna mix this up, I just want everything nice and smooth. That’s it! So I just want to make sure that all the ingredients got combined, and they in fact did. And so now we can just use…I’m gonna use a little ice cream or cookie scoop just to take out small portions or you can use a tablespoon scoop. Just want to take small little balls of them, roll them a bit, and then just place them on a baking sheet. These don’t really spread so you can have them pretty close together.

We have a little baking sheet here. This is so fun to make if you’ve got gluten-free friends but it’s also a good recipe like if you’re just out of flour, or you know, you don’t have a lot of ingredients. It’s nice and simple. So we’re gonna keep doing this here, but before that, I’m gonna show you the little trick. So we’re just gonna use a fork and we’re gonna press down on that little ball of dough and then the other way just to create a crosshatch. That’ll give it that sort of classic old-fashioned peanut butter cookie look.

So we’re gonna keep scooping and rolling out the rest of this dough, pop it in the oven for about 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees. You just want them to bake up, they’ll be a little bit darker and perfectly set. Then we’ll be able to try them.
All, right guys, we got these out of the oven, let them cool right on the pan, so easy. Now I’m just gonna place a few on our little plate. How great do they look, right? So there you have it: 5 Ingredient Gluten-Free Peanut Butter Cookies. All right lady, let’s have some cookies. Yes! One for me, one for you. That’s a good cookie. It’s like the genius of eating straight from the jar but even better. That touch of cinnamon there, so good. These cookies are so delicious and completely gluten-free.
