Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces of steak
  • 8 ounces of shrimp
  • A handful of greens (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 8 ounces of regular spaghetti
  • ½ cup of your preferred teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • Steak seasoning to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 small onion, sliced

Instructions:

  1. Start by heating your olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. You can grab a non-stick pan at any local store for a low price. They’re perfect for a dish like this.
  2. While the oil heats, season your steak with garlic salt, steak seasoning, black pepper, and a dash of salt.
  3. Once your pan is hot, place your steak and sliced onions in the pan.
  4. As your steak cooks, sprinkle some of your homemade seasoning blend on it for added flavor. Next, drizzle half a tablespoon of soy sauce over the steak. Soy sauce not only enhances the flavor but also tenderizes the meat, making it softer and juicier.
  5. Keep an eye on your steak. Don’t let it cook for too long; you still have shrimp to add!

  7. At this point, sprinkle the remaining minced garlic over the cooking steak and shrimp, being careful not to let the garlic burn.
  8. While your meat continues to cook, flip your shrimp to ensure they are seared on both sides. This will give them a nice, even color and flavor.
  9. As your shrimp start to turn pink, it’s time to add the teriyaki sauce. Pour it evenly over your steak and shrimp.
  10. Once your steak and shrimp are coated in the teriyaki sauce, remove your pan from the heat.
  11. In the meantime, cook your spaghetti according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  12. To finish off, toss your cooked spaghetti in the pan with your teriyaki steak and shrimp, making sure everything gets evenly coated with that delicious sauce.
